The Colorado Rockies are facing six games in Los Angeles – four against the Dodgers, after a mid-week two-game set against the Angels. How will they do?

Well, the Colorado Rockies couldn’t exactly count on home-cooking this past week in Denver. Not only did Mother Nature not exactly cooperate with playing conditions for most of the week, but the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks were none too amenable to allowing the Rockies to use their historical Coors Field advantage.

So what’s better than an unsuccessful homestand? Ah, right. A week-long road trip to Los Angeles, where the last time the Colorado Rockies were here, they surprised… no one… by losing all three games to the Dodgers in April.

Welcome back to Los Angeles, guys! How will the ball club do this time around in the city of highways, palm trees, and (wannabe) movie stars?

I’ll leave it to our staff writer Len Nunes to consult his crystal ball in predicting each series, considering he seems to have a pretty solid track record with it, but I can tell you this: it ain’t gonna be pretty.

I’m not going so far as to say the season is over – let’s at least wait a few months before we start talking collapse – but I will say it’s going to be a long, long week for Rockies fans.

But hey, Dodger Dogs, so at least there’s that, right? And Vin Scully!

By the way, if you’re ever at Dodger Stadium, get a Doyer Dog – it’s a Dodger Dog but better because it’s topped with nom nom noms. You’re welcome.
