The Colorado Rockies traded their franchise player late Monday night — do you like the deal? What do you think of the trade?

If you fell asleep early last night after (before?) the Colorado Rockies’ disappointing loss in Chicago against the Cubs, good morning! Wake up! Rise and shine! Troy Tulowitzki has been traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for a shortstop and three minor leaguers, welcome!

I know, pick your jaw up off the floor. Read up on the trade itself here, as well as what we know we’ve gotten in return for Tulo here (that will be updated as we learn more about the minor leaguers and their prospect status, stats, backgrounds, etc.).

So… now that you’ve done just a little bit of reading, we want to know… what do you think of the Tulo trade?

Hey, look, I know — trades get judged after years of analysis, not ONE DAY, but it is an interesting thing to see fans’ knee-jerk reactions to trades. Did the Rockies get hosed? Did the Rockies win big? What do you think right now?

Sure, that thought process will change in a month, and then again in a year, and then again you’ll look back in three years and say it was completely the opposite of your knee-jerk. That’s fine. But what does your gut say — do you like the Tulo trade?

It was pretty funny — on Twitter literally everyone thought their own team had gotten the worst end of the deal. Jays fans felt it was a tragedy to give up pitching, while Rockies fans were lamenting getting minor leaguers back for Tulo. Both sides can’t be wrong! (Well, probably.)

So anyways, we want to know what you think: did the Colorado Rockies get screwed on this one, or was it a shrewd move by Jeff Bridich?
