All the Colorado Rockies rumors we’re tracking at the MLB trade deadline
The Colorado Rockies could trade a few players if they choose to on Friday before the trade deadline. The Rockies have already relief pitcher Mychal Givens to the Cincinnati Reds but shortstop Trevor Story, right-handed pitcher Jon Gray, first baseman C.J. Cron, and relief pitcher Daniel Bard have also had a lot of trade rumors surrounding them.
Today, we will have this tracker of rumors that we are hearing on July 30. We will update the article as we hear more.

Here are the Colorado Rockies-related trade rumors we are hearing on Friday.
Jose Berrios is heading north of the border as the Minnesota Twins have traded him to the Toronto Blue Jays. They got two of MLB.com’s Top 100 prospects for the rest of this season and next season before Berrios is a free agent. This could mean that the Rockies could get a good haul if they want to trade Jon Gray.
However, multiple reports (including Thomas Harding of MLB.com) indicate that the Rockies and Gray are trying to sign a contract extension. If they are trying to extend him, the club will almost certainly keep him at the deadline.
Mark Feinsand of MLB.com has reported that the Rockies have no intention to trade Gray or Daniel Bard.
The Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays have been linked to Trevor Story but there have been conflicting reports on whether the Rays are really trying to get Story or if there’s not much traction with the Rays or Blue Jays.
Feinsand also reports that the Mets and Giants are also interested in Story, which should not be a surprise to readers of this site, as we have reported that the Mets are interested in Story numerous times recently and we also reported on the Giants as well.
Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports that the Cardinals are also interested in Story. Again, not a total surprise, as we have reported that Story could be a fit there.
We will update this article below for more rumors that we hear before the trade deadline that is just over two hours away.
UPDATE: Joel Sherman of MLB Network and The New York Post reports that the ask on Story as dropped and “now feels more” likely that Story will be traded.
2nd UPDATE: Mark Feinsand of MLB.com contradicts Sherman by saying that the asking price for Story has not budged.
3rd UPDATE: Feinsand reports that the Giants remain engaged with the Rockies on Story
