The Colorado Rockies’ upcoming 10-game homestand, starting Friday night, could be filled with many prominent moments.

With the Baltimore Orioles, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Toronto Blue Jays coming to Denver over the next week and a half, Coors Field should be the place to be for a number of reasons. For the Colorado Rockies, they have a chance to draw closer to the elusive .500 record for the time since April 1 when they were 2-2. For three players, there are historical individual home run milestones that could be achieved.

Starting with the least likely to happen, Mark Reynolds is two home runs away from joining the 300 Home Run club. If and when he accomplishes this feat, he will become the 148th player to hit 300 homers in his career. Reynolds has played for eight different teams over his 13-year career, with the majority of his homers coming in his time with the D-backs.

As the backup first baseman, the chances for him to get there could be limited. He will likely get the start Friday night against the Orioles as lefty John Means is the probable starter.

Nolan Arenado is three homers shy of hitting his 200th home run. Already sixth all-time in Rockies’ history in home runs, Arenado will tie Dante Bichette when he hits his 201st homer. He is also due for a homer or two as he is currently in a seven-game home run drought.

Last but not least, Trevor Story only needs one more for his 100th career home run. When he does, he will become lucky number 13 in Rockies’ franchise history to accomplish the feat. Our Kevin Henry recently dove into Story’s home run history, and with his track record at Coors Field, the wait shouldn’t be long.

Coors Field should provide some excitement during this homestand. The Orioles have given up the most long balls in the Majors this season. So if you have tickets in the left-field bleachers, you might want to bring your gloves, because you may have a chance at catching a little bit of history.
