DENVER – After the Colorado Rockies suffered a 6-5 loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday night at Coors Field, Jake Shapiro caught up with RoxPile.com co-expert Kevin Henry. The two went over luck, and what was unlucky and lucky for the Denver Nine during Saturday night’s game.
Reviewing Tyler Anderson‘s quality start, the two had a very different opinion than Colorado skipper Bud Black.
Later in the show, Rockies right-hander Chad Bettis joined in and gave his key to how the Colorado organization has improved their pitching. It was different than what I thought it would be so his take is definitely worth a listen.
Bettis also talked about his days as a reliever and the experiment the Rays are trying in Tampa with an “opener.”

The righty reviewed general stuff going on with the club right now too and his take is interesting.
Also, 35 caught a laugh talking about Adam Ottavino‘s slider.
Elsewhere on the show, Henry and I talked about Chris Rusin‘s failures, David Dahl‘s successes and an odd night for Charlie Blackmon.
It truly was a jam-packed edition of the show.
