The Colorado Rockies are playing the Pittsburgh Pirates this week, so I went looking for pirate-themed tunes on YouTube, and I came to this, which purports itself to be the most original (?) tune about pirates out there.
Not sure if I believe that, but I guess it sounded pretty cool, so enjoy. It sounds a little… well, you know, real pirates wouldn’t have been able to harmonize like those dudes, so I’m guessing it isn’t the most authentic.
Also, can we talk about how Pittsburgh is the Pirates, but has been landlocked for, well, for at least a few decades, I’m fairly certain? Really makes you think, guys. The Los Angeles Lakers are called the Lakers and there’s not even any lakes in southern California. Explain THAT!!
Sorry. Let’s get to actual numbers and stats and, you know, baseball stuff. Hit that next slide…
