The trade deadline is gone, the playoffs have long been out of reach — will you follow the Colorado Rockies the rest of the season?

The Colorado Rockies aren’t good. We’ve all kind of known that for a while, right? Be honest — when they had that eleven game losing streak back in May, we all kinda knew then that this team wasn’t going to go anywhere and they sure as hell weren’t going to be worth watching in August or September, especially if they had a firesale.

Well… here we are, it’s August 6, the Rockies are way the hell out of contention, and while they didn’t exactly have a fire sale, they did trade their best player for several very young pitchers, so…

It’s probably about time for some of you to be hittin’ the old dusty trail back to Broncos minicamps, also known as which-player-sprained-his-finger-today-that-talk-radio-is-going-to-devote-nine-hours-of-content-for?? (That’s an amazing game show by the way, I call it WPSHFTTTRIGTDNHOCF. Wonderful show.)

Ok. I’ll stop being goofy. Serious question: do you still have an incentive to watch the Colorado Rockies? If so… what is it?

I think everybody expects viewership and interest to lag as the season goes on, but attendance never seems to lag too hard even if the club is bad, so I guess I just don’t really know, and I’d love to know where everybody is at mentally with another bad year from another bad club:

As always, please comment below and tell me a little bit more about what you think of the Rockies and all this honest to goodness last place stuff @RoxPileFS, or me personally @BobbyDeMuro.
