The next Colorado Rockies blogger panel is upon us! It’s going to take place Saturday (that’s TOMORROW!) so here’s the deal if you want to come on out…

More from Colorado Rockies News

Hey, so the folks at Rockies Zingers haven’t hosted a Rockies’ blogger panel in a few weeks. But because Richard Bergstrom over there is pretty awesome and consistent about what he does, he’s put together yet another Rockies’ blogger’s panel for those of you who may have missed earlier ones.

Expect this one to be some kind of special, after the Rockies’ trade of Tulo and any other potential trade news that develops in the time between me writing this post, you reading it, and the panel actually taking place on Saturday, August 1st.

Here is all the important information for those of you in the Denver area interested in heading out to the panel:

WHEN: Saturday, August 1st, from 2:00 pm — 5:00 pm MT. (Doors open at 2:00 pm, panel will start at 2:30 pm)

WHERE: El Charrito — 2100 Larimer Street, Denver, CO, 80205 (All ages welcome! Great Mexican food and perhaps some drinks are available as well)

PANELISTS: Rockies bloggers! Join a great group of panelists that includes:

Drew Creasman (Purple Row)
“The Ghost of Marv” (Purple Row)
Michelle Stalnaker (Rox Pile)
Nick Tremaroli  (Rockies Zingers)
Jake Shapiro (Rockies Zingers)
Richard Bergstrom (Rockies Zingers)

ON MICHELLE: Y’all know Michelle Stalnaker, one of our staff writers! If you don’t, or if you’d like to study up on some of her thoughts on the Rockies, here’s her portfolio for our site.

WHAT: Talk shop!

Trade deadline talk, all sorts of baseball questions and answers, it’s a pretty informal, but hopefully informative way for you to meet Rockies’ bloggers, other like-minded fans, and have a pretty relaxing and fun time enjoying some good company to discuss a pretty bad team.

FOR MORE: Here’s the link to the Facebook event page (you don’t need to RSVP on Facebook to go on Saturday, though — you can just show up!)
