The Atlanta Braves come to town for four games, facing the Colorado Rockies in the final series before the All Star Break begins Monday. That break couldn’t come at a better time for the Rockies, who have lost nine of their last twelve games and are floundering after being swept by the Los Angeles Angels immediately after a brutal west coast road trip.
The Braves are playing a bit better than many thought they would this year, currently sitting one game under .500 entering play Thursday night, though they are still 4.5 games out of it in both the NL East and the NL Wild Card Race.
