The Colorado Rockies did one good thing this week; they broke their road losing streak against American League teams when Jorge De La Rosa beat the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night. So that was something!
Other than that, neither Oakland nor San Francisco were anything to write home about. But, as the Rockies sit at 2-4 through the first six games of their road trip, they aren’t in the worst possible position. A 2-2 series against the Diamondbacks gives them four wins on the road. Not terrible. Anything less than a split (which is always possible with this club), and the 10-game trip is all kinds of bad.
So let’s get to it. As always, here are your probable pitchers, along with some keys for the Rockies as they look to win a series, and some info of the Arizona Diamondbacks — even though we just saw them last week.
