Entering their series with the Miami Marlins, the Colorado Rockies had won 12 of their last 18 games, thanks to solid pitching and timely hitting both at home and on the road.

So the Colorado Rockies have been playing pretty well. I mean, taking two of three from the Cardinals is something nobody should complain about, and while it doesn’t make their season, it would make for a pretty good week, right?

The club entered their series with the Marlins sitting at 27-31, which isn’t a playoff contender — and the Rockies would have a ton of work to do this year to do that — but it is better than we all thought they were gonna be this season.

The last three weeks, especially, have been solid; the Rockies have won 12 of their last 18 games entering the Miami series, benefitting from significant rotation help from newcomers Chad Bettis, Chris Rusin, and David Hale. Jorge De La Rosa, too, is starting to find his way on the mound, and all of a sudden, four-fifths of the Rockies’ rotation is looking pretty damn good.

With that, then, it’s time for our kind-of-weekly offering — Rockies Tinder! On Tinder, for those of you who aren’t single and/or don’t live with a smart phone attached to your hip at all times, lets you swipe right or left on other people’s profiles in a hot-or-not kind of online dating atmosphere.

Swiping right is good! Think of it as DJ LeMahieu. Swiping left is… Kyle Kendrick. Or Boone Logan.

And with that… let’s get to it. Hit that next slide and see who’s been hot for the Rockies in the past seven days.
