Here’s something we will maybe possibly start doing kinda regularly: some tweet recaps of important stuff about the Colorado Rockies that you might have missed over the preceding week.

Believe it or not, there are some people who know about the Colorado Rockies even better than we do. (I know, I know, it’s impossible to even consider, but trust me, it does happen.)
So we decided it might be fun to occasionally check into the world of Twitter for those of you who aren’t on it (and some who are), to see some of the most pertinent stuff around the Rox each week. This won’t happen every seven days, but consider it a fun surprise when it does. Without further ado:
Rockies have 10+ K in 7 straight games yet are 3-4 in those game.

This team strikes out a ton, but weirdly, it hasn’t burned them as much as the bad pitching (go figure, right?).
Bad news: Rox not far off from striking out 10 or more times in 7 straight games. Would be all alone for 2nd-longest streak in MLB history.

Whiffs. WHIFFS. Combine that with the fact that Troy Tulowitzki doesn’t walk any more, and what do you have? A damn wind farm.
According to Elias Sports: The Rockies are the first team in modern era (since 1900) to strike out 14+ times in three straight games.

WHIFFS.
Dinger is behind the plate as the fog (?) rolls in. Keep rollin', fog. Make Dinger disappear. #StopDinger2015

Hell yes, that’s our tweet. I’m not sayin’, but I’m sayin’. #StopDinger2015.
Not sure how much blame Doyle deserves for Rox offensive struggles. These are big league hitters, a coach really doesn't add/subtract much

This one started a great discussion about the role hitting coaches play and if Doyle’s to blame for the Rockies’ struggles. More on that from us pretty soon, in fact.
