Major League Baseball released the 2022 schedules for all thirty MLB teams, including the Colorado Rockies, on Wednesday and for the Rockies, they will face the Los Angeles Dodgers on a lot of important days.
The Rockies will face the Dodgers on Opening Day in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 31. That will be the Opening Day for all 30 teams in 2022. The Rockies will have off-days on Monday, April 4, and Thursday, April 7, which will be sandwiched by a two-game series with the San Diego Padres.

The Colorado Rockies will face the Los Angeles Dodgers for their home opener in 2022.
The Colorado Rockies will open their home slate of games on Friday, April 8, and, again, they will face the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Rockies will face the Dodgers seven times in their first nine games overall. The Rockies will, then, go to Texas to face the Rangers for two games before returning home to face the Chicago Cubs and the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Rockies won’t face the Los Angeles Dodgers again until the final series in June. They will face each other a few days later in Los Angeles when the Rockies and Dodgers will have two-game series on Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5.
They will also face them around the trade deadline at Coors Field from Thursday, July 28 through Sunday, July 31.
The Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers will not face each other again until the final series of the season. The two teams will wrap the regular season up in Los Angeles from Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2.
The Rockies final homestand will be from Monday, September 19 through Sunday, September 25 against the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres.
The Colorado Rockies will also face the newly-dubbed Cleveland Guardians.
The Colorado Rockies will face the American League Central division in interleague play in 2022 (plus the AL West’s Texas Rangers). The Rockies will face the newly-dubbed Cleveland Guardians in their only series of the season on June 14-16 at Coors Field.
Other interleague matchups include facing the Rangers in Texas (April 11-12), facing the Detroit Tigers in Detroit (April 22-24), the Kansas City Royals at Coors (May 13-15), the Minnesota Twins in Minnesota (June 24-26), the Chicago White Sox at Coors (July 26-27), the Rangers at Coors (August 23-24), and the Chicago White Sox in Chicago (September 13-14).
