Opening Weekend HR Bonus

This one’s fairly simple: You place a $25 money line bet on either the Rockies or Rangers to win one of this weekend’s games and you get $5 back for each HR the team you bet on hits and it goes towards the free bet. So bet on the Rockies to win on Saturday, and they hit three HRs off Kluber, then you get a $15 free bet coming your way. Not all that shabby, but I’m likely avoiding this promo in favor of another DraftKings promo.

2019 All-Star HR Boost

Here’s where the money’s at. You opt into the promo and get +100 odds for any 2019 All-Star to hit a home run during their Opening Day games. The normal odds on DraftKings for something like this would be -10000. You get a max bet of $25. With the odds boost, your payout will be $50. In a normal situation, your payout would be $25.25. There are a total of 44 players that you need to hit a home run and not to be too forward, but all 44 players are pretty good. This is the easiest money you can make and while you can only throw down $25, it should be a really easy $25 for you to make. I’ve already opted in to this and I recommend you do too!

World Series Free Bet Bonus

This one’s pretty straight forward too: Place a $25 bet on any team to win the World Series (before the season starts) and get a $25 Free Bet to use on any Opening Day game. This isn’t all too shabby of a promo. And if you’re comfortable dropping $25 on the Rockies at +12500 anyways, might as well use that $25 free bet on an Opening Day game and see what happens! I’m likely sitting this one out since I’m already invested in the All-Star HR Boost, but this won’t be a bad promo to opt into.

So there you go! A few fun promos to opt into if you’re wanting to have a little extra fun over Opening Day Weekend. I personally recommend the All-Star HR Bonus as it’s the easiest money to make on this list, but either the Fanduel 7th Inning Stretch Insurance or the DraftKings World Series Free Bet would be the other promos I’d consider.

Have fun this Opening Day Weekend, be smart about your bets, and good luck!
