Major League Baseball has decided to launch a new way to judge a full-season of a MLB player’s season.

For determining how a player has done half way through the season, you can vote for the best players to the MLB All-Star Game in early July.

However, for the end of the season, there hasn’t been anything to determine some of the best players of the game. Sometimes, players like Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland in 2018, end up having a phenomenal season without being an All-Star.

Now, there is a way to encompass the entire season for awards. MLB has launched the All-MLB team to vote for the best regular season players for this honor.

You can vote here and you can vote once every 24 hours between now and 3 PM Mountain Time on December 3, where 50 percent of the vote will come from fans and 50 percent of the vote coming from a panel of experts. There will be a first-team and second-team for each award.

Unlike the All-Star selections, not every team will have a representative and in fact, the Detroit Tigers and Miami Marlins don’t even have any nominees (there’s a total of 60 position players and 30 pitchers). The team with the most nominees is the American League champion Houston Astros with 10 players. For the Rockies, they have three nominees to vote for (third baseman Nolan Arenado, shortstop Trevor Story, and outfielder Charlie Blackmon).

The first All-MLB inaugural December 10 during the annual Winter Meetings, which are being held in San Diego this year.

Since there is not a Rockies nominee at each position, you could even do something like a dual approach that the Cleveland Indians took with the Rockies, their Twitter friends. There should also be some good battles between some players at some of the positions as they are pretty close, stat-wise, so go vote now.
