Colorado Rockies: Advantage in final week with schedule?

With seven games left in the regular season, the Colorado Rockies will have to make up some ground to reach the postseason. They will have the opportunity to do just that all week at Coors Field.
Despite a sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks in the desert over the weekend, the Colorado Rockies gained no ground on the St. Louis Cardinals in the chase for the second National League Wild Card spot. They did, however, gain one game on the Los Angeles Dodgers as the Rockies continue to chase their first-ever National League West title.
They enter Monday’s play 1.5 games behind in the race for both the Wild Card and NL West crown.
With seven games left for Colorado in the regular season (four against the Philadelphia Phillies and three against the Washington Nationals) and all of the games coming at home this week, that is one advantage the Rockies have over both the Cardinals and Dodgers. Both St. Louis and Los Angeles have at least one series on the road this coming week.
After crushing the San Diego Padres 14-0 in their Chavez Ravine regular season finale on Sunday, the Dodgers will now play three in Arizona (Monday through Wednesday) before finishing the season at AT&T Park against the San Francisco Giants (Friday through Sunday).
St. Louis, meanwhile, swept the Giants in under the Arch over the weekend. Like Los Angeles, St. Louis will finish the season against division foes. The Wild Card-leading Milwaukee Brewers visit St. Louis on Monday through Wednesday and the Cardinals will travel to Chicago to face the Cubs at Wrigley Field for three consecutive day games to end the season from Friday through Sunday.

Some interesting things to note about the schedule…
The Rockies are the only team of the three to not have an off day this week. That Thursday afternoon game against the Phillies will certainly draw a lot of attention around the National League.
dark. Next. Let's face it ... the Rockies need you at Coors Field this week
With St. Louis playing three day games this weekend at Wrigley Field, the Rockies will know on Friday and Saturday the results of those games before they ever step on the field. The same is true of Saturday’s Giants-Dodgers game. Remember last season when the Rockies clinched a playoff spot because of a day game result before they ever stepped on the field for a night game? Could the same happen this year?
