Just in time for the holidays, the Colorado Rockies unveiled a sweet, new piece of gear as part of their 25th anniversary celebration.
The Rockies, along with the rest of Major League Baseball, pulled the curtain back on their 2018 batting practice and spring training caps. The Rockies have not only incorporated the Rockies logo on the cap but also the Colorado state flag. Bringing the two together presents a stylish look and will likely be on many wish lists for the upcoming holidays.

The Colorado state flag is one of the most recognizable symbols of any of the 50 states so putting it on the Rockies cap makes perfect sense and gives Coloradans another way to show their state pride. With the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado State University using the Colorado state flag logo in their merchandise as well, it makes sense for the Rockies to join in the fun as well.
Additionally on Monday, the team announced that Colorado’s 2018 home and road uniforms will feature a 25th Anniversary Season patch on the right sleeve. On their black sleeveless jerseys, the patch will be on the right chest of the uniform.
The branding will extend to a commemorative home cap that will display a silver “CR” on the front and the 25th Anniversary Season patch on the right side of the cap. This cap will be exclusive to the 2018 season, the campaign where the Rockies celebrate just how far they have come from an expansion team playing at Mile High Stadium.
The hat and other team merchandise featuring 25th Anniversary Season branding is now available at all Colorado Rockies Dugout Stores, Diamond Dry Goods at Coors Field and online at Rockies.com/dugoutstores.
