One to watch (This guy): The Hawks got a bit of a viral event from a good samaritan who sent them a letter this week, which the club then posted to Twitter.
The letter explained that the guy (or gal?) had snuck in to the stadium to watch the game earlier this season, regretted it, felt bad about it, and enclosed $7 (admission!!) within the envelope to pay back for their stolen seat.
Considering most people probably wouldn’t think twice about doing something like sneaking into a baseball game (what? You mean you really would think twice about it if you weren’t caught initially?), it’s actually pretty refreshing to see that somebody took it upon themselves to do the right thing, even if it was a little too late. (It’s never too late!)
Thank you to the good samaritan who sent this in today! We appreciate your honesty. #HawksRock pic.twitter.com/xa5pRCp6F7
