Swipe Left On These Colorado Rockies

Ben Paulsen. Really, he’s just down here for this play (below)… if he doesn’t brain fart in that situation, the Rockies probably don’t even need to go to the bottom of the ninth to win on Monday night. Just… damn. But hey, it happens, and since the Rockies won anyways, it’s not a sad story, but a funny one.

We’ve all been there, right?

Kyle Kendrick. Something is coming later today about Mr. Kendrick, I just felt like including him on this list because he’s allowed 26 hits in his last 18.1 innings with a 5.89 ERA, and he’s given up FIVE homers in that stretch. But to his credit, he’s only walked one guy!

The catchers. Nick Hundley and Michael McKenry have combined to go 0-for-12 with four strikeouts and just one walk over the Rockies’ first three games back from the All Star break.

Carlos Gonzalez. CarGo is 3-for-12 since the break, so, meh, whatever. But he has struck out seven times in those 12 at-bats.

Padres fans. Because they went f*****g crazy during the Sunday rainout.
