Ok, sorry, I can’t write in the title/header style for a whole post, or it’d take me two hours to finish it and re-correct all the autocorrects to make sure words are spelled wrong. I’m a busy man — far too busy for that — and I have things to do. And by things, I mean, I have to watch daytime TV on my off day as I wait for the Rockies to start their Friday night game.
The point of this post is grammar and spelling and stuff and thingz, though, based on something I saw come across Twitter the other day:
Damnit, Rockies fans! The bottom eight in just another baseball ranking. Sh*t!
I’m not sure how much I believe in Grammarly, since I have no experience with automated grammar checkers. I do have experience with automatic Internet web crawlers that translate things from different languages, and truth be told, they are pretty crappy; if grammar crawlers are that bad, I don’t have much faith in this list.
Besides, it’s the Internet, everybody uses abbreviations and phrases and memes and stuff that isn’t going to rank highly on a grammar wizard, right?
But damn… we do get some interesting tweets some times, so I guess it wouldn’t surprise me if Rockies fans are, um, eighth. The Indians are in the lead by a lot, though. Cleveland? Cleveland!
Either way, consider this some food for thought. Spell things well on Twitter, guys and girls, because apparently it matters in how you’re treated by opposing fan bases, or other people on Twitter, or, ok hell let’s be honest, it doesn’t actually matter.
Hey Rockiez fans u need too right better and read guud or else we will fall in too last place behind the Noo York Metz. (I’m sorry.)
