Let’s Meet The Marlins

The Marlins, sitting at 24-36, have disappointed all season for a team that some had expected to challenge for a playoff berth.

It’s obviously not too late to get into gear — and the Fish will get Jose Fernandez back later this summer to help them a bit — but the club has been going in the wrong direction all season, eventually leading to the firing of manager Mike Redmond last month, and his replacement in the dugout with general manager Dan Jennings.

Yeah, Jeffrey Loria’s at it again.

Anyways, we spoke to Marlin Maniac last week about the first Marlins series in Denver, and not a whole heck of a lot has changed with that club in the last, well, four days.

So, if you’re interested in seeing that again, or if you’ve forgotten what the Marlins are like after their three-game series in Denver, read our series preview interview from last week here.
