Wondering how you can live stream the Colorado Rockies visiting the Cincinnati Reds this weekend? There’s a new way to do it, thanks to a brand new partnership.

Major League Baseball and Facebook have announced a partnership where the two entities will work together to broadcast 20 MLB games during the rest of the regular season. One game will be featured each week and the partnership begins with the Rockies and Reds from Great American Ball Park on Friday night.

We discussed back in March about how a deal like this could benefit the Rockies. It now appears that that possibility is becoming real life.

Colorado (26-16) comes into Friday’s series opener after splitting a double-header in Minnesota on Thursday. Tyler Anderson (2-4, 6.43 ERA) will be looking to rebound from what has been a bumpy start to the season. However, the 27-year-old southpaw has a 1-1 mark with a 3.09 ERA in two May starts. The key for Anderson? Keeping the ball in the park. He’s given up 10 homers this season, tied for the fourth-highest mark in MLB.

Lisalverto Bonilla will get his second start of the season for Cincinnati (19-21). He picked up a loss on May 13 against San Francisco despite giving up just three runs and six hits in eight innings.

On Saturday, Colorado’s Antonio Senzatela (6-1, 3.31 ERA) will look to keep his amazing rookie season going when he faces Cincinnati’s Tim Adleman (2-2, 5.27 ERA).

Sunday will feature a mixture of youth and experience with 24-year-old Kyle Freeland (4-2, 3.13 ERA) taking the hill for Colorado against Cincinnati’s 40-year-old Bronson Arroyo (3-3, 6.31 ERA).

Saturday’s and Sunday’s game will be livestreamed on MLB.TV. You can find out more information about that by clicking here.
