Here’s the thing: for the right person, a jersey worn in a game is awesome. It doesn’t matter who wore the jersey, the mere fact that it was worn in a big league game is enough. If you know somebody like that, it might be totally understandable that you would be one of the thirteen (!) bidders on a Charlie Culberson jersey.

If you care about the player who wore the jersey, however, consider putting your attention elsewhere. Culberson might not (and should not) be back with the team next season, and it looks like this bidding is going to be heated.

Now, if they were auctioning off Charlie’s secret to those flowing locks, we might be having another conversation entirely. But save for that, consider it my official position that you should stay away from all things Charlie Culberson.
