Your daily-or-at-least-a-few-times-a-week-or-really-whenever-I-get-the-time link dump on pertinent Rockies links from around the Internet.

Today is April 1st. Depending on your perspective, that’s either the best or worst day to be on the Internet.

In case you missed it, we’ve already broken big news today with an exclusive from an anonymous source. (How funny would it be if the Rockies actually did add a female mascot? I mean, it wouldn’t be inconceivable… right?)

Let’s get you caught up on what’s happening with some Rockies links from around the web on this glorious and confusing April Fool’s Day:

Purple Row introduces a new moderation system. Sounds like a hell hole over there, y’all. Better come our way from now on. #winkyface

Rockies Zingers defends Wilin Rosario’s defense. Of course, we are on record wanting him as far from a ball and glove as possible, but Zingers writer Ryan Hammon argues he’s better than people realize. He follows it up with a teaser about how Charlie Culberson is, too. Oh boy.

The Denver Post sports show guys debate the arbitration clock. Is it better to bring up a player now to help you win immediately, or wait a few weeks and have him for another year of team control? They talk Kris Bryant, and obviously, Jon Gray. No comment on the #hottakes therein.

The Rockies need to hit better on the road. Thomas Harding at MLB.com has a piece on the Rockies failure to hit on the road and what needs to get corrected this season. There’s a very apt quote from D.J. LeMahieu in that piece, too: dominate at home, and be good enough on the road. That’s the ticket.

Remember, folks, it’s April Fool’s Day. Don’t be the sucker . . .
