It shouldn't surprise anyone to see Ethan Holliday and Charlie Condon ranked one and two respectively, but the rest of the list has shifted considerably.

MLB.com just dropped their latest 2026 Top 30 prospects for the Rockies, and we're breaking down some of the key changes to the list.

Rockies outfield prospect Jared Thomas jumped from No. 8 in the 2025 rankings to No. 3 in 2026 after a solid season split between Spokane and Hartford.

He started strong in A+, slashing .330/.495/.922 with 11 home runs, 13 doubles, 45 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases in 73 games.

After his promotion to Double-A, he made some necessary adjustments, posting a .245/.347/.374 line with three home runs, 10 doubles, 15 RBIs, and 11 stolen bases.

The most surprising name on this list—though perhaps not a huge shock given his recent Minor League Player of the Year award—is Roldy Brito, who jumped from No. 16 in 2025 to No. 4.

He was dominant in 2025, splitting time between rookie ball and Single-A. He slashed .371/.444/.516 with 20 doubles, seven triples, four home runs, 38 RBIs, and 35 stolen bases.

The 5-foot-11 switch-hitter carries a 60 speed grade and a 50 overall prospect rating, according to MLB.com.

Cole Carrigg, who's been making waves this spring training, has dropped from number No. 3 to No. 6 in the latest rankings.

He possesses speed comparable to Brito and an exceptional arm, which has led Colorado to deploy him at both shortstop and center field.

He struggled adjusting to Double-A Hartford, posting a .237 batting average with 18 doubles and 6 triples. However, he showed some power, hitting 15 home runs and driving in 64 runs.

His speed remained on full display as he swiped 46 bags in 2025, seven fewer than in 2024.

Zac Veen, who has produced some long balls this spring and is a fan favorite, is ranked No. 13 on the list.

Other notables include Sean Sullivan (No. 11), Welinton Herrera (No. 14), Sterlin Thompson (No. 15), Gabriel Hughes (No. 16), Carson Palmquist (No. 22), and McCade Brown (No. 25).

Here's the complete list of the Top 30 Rockies prospects for 2026.
