Free agent acquisition Michael Lorenzen continues to struggle early in spring training during his final tune-up before joining Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic.

The right-hander surrendered a leadoff home run to Brewers center fielder Blake Perkins to start the game. Most of the damage after that came on singles.

Lorenzen gave up four runs on six hits over 2.2 innings while walking two and striking out two.

Rockies outfielder/second baseman Tyler Freeman made his spring training debut, roping an RBI double off Brewers starter Robert Gasser that plated Jake McCarthy, who reached on a leadoff walk.

Rockies right-hander Ryan Felter continues working his way back after missing most of 2025. He went 2.2 innings, giving up three runs on three hits while walking two and striking out five.

Ryan Ritter is seeing the ball well this spring. He went 3-for-3 with two doubles, raising his spring average to .478.

Milwaukee's six-run sixth inning essentially sealed the game, highlighted by Jake Bauers' two-run homer.
