The Rockies notched their eighth spring training victory Saturday night, defeating the Dodgers 6-4 in a well-rounded team effort.
Rockies outfielders Brenton Doyle and Jake McCarthy offered a preview of what Coors Field fans can expect this season, as both made spectacular sliding catches.
McCarthy impressed at the plate as well, going 1-for-1 with a walk, two runs scored, and three RBI. He's now hitting .381 this spring.
Zach Agnos started for Colorado and continued his dominant spring. The right-hander tossed a scoreless inning.
The Rockies jumped on Blake Treinen, who has been a reliable reliever for the Dodgers in recent years. He lasted just 0.1 innings, surrendering four runs on three hits and two walks.
Left-handed pitching prospect Sean Sullivan was solid across three innings of relief, allowing one run on three hits while striking out one.
