Here's how to watch the Rockies' opening weekend of the 2025 season

The Colorado Rockies’ big-league club has left Arizona.

After falling to the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2 on Monday at Salt River Fields, the Rockies packed up and headed to Florida for one last spring training game.

The Rockies, 17-14 in Cactus League play will take on Grapefruit League stalwart Minnesota Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. M.D.T. in the final spring training game of 2025.

After that, it’s on Tampa where the Rockies will open the season with a three-game set against the Rays. The Rockies and Rays will meet in the New York Yankees spring training stadium after Hurricane Helene ripped the roof off of Tropicana Field last fall. 

All three of Colorado’s games on opening weekend will be day games. On Friday, Opening Day 2025, the Rockies and Rays will play at 2:10 M.D.T., and they’ll do it again on Saturday. The Rockies and Rays wrap up opening weekend with 11:40 a.m. M.D.T. start on Sunday. 

As for how to watch the Rockies on opening weekend, all three games will be streamed live on Rockies TV, which can be purchased through MLB.TV with all Rockies games in the Colorado market guaranteed not to be blacked out.

The Rockies open the season on a six-game road trip. After playing in Tampa, the Rockies travel to Philadelphia for games next Tuesday-Thursday.

Colorado then opens the home season against the Athletics April 4. The home-opener at Coors Field is set for Friday, April 4 at 2:10 M.D.T.

Extra Notes: Jordan Beck had two more hits in Monday’s loss. That’s seven hits in his last 12 at-bats. Ryan Feltner made his final start of spring, giving up two runs but striking out four in five innings of work. Tyler Freeman played his second game for Colorado debut and scored a run.
