Rockies announce roster for Spring Breakout 2025

Colorado's talented farm system will be on display next Sunday

The Spring Breakout became an instant success during 2024 Spring Training. So, it’s exciting to see it’s back again.

For the Colorado Rockies, 27 of the best minor league pllayers and top prospects in the organization will be in action on March 16th when the Rockies play the Chicago White Sox.

The Spring Breakout will give Rockies’ fans another shot to see many of the top players vying for big league roster spots. Players like starting pitcher Chase Dollander, the No. 1 prospect in the organization, as well as Drew Romo, Adeal Amador, Kyle Karros, Cole Carrigg and Benny Montgomery, all of whom are playing extremely well in Cactus League play.

But it isn’t just big-league campers that will be shining for the Rockies during the Spring Breakout. The likes of No. 2 overall prospect Charlie Condon, top pitching prospects Brody Brecht, Carson Palmquist and Jordy Vargas, and budding young star Robert Calaz will also be in action.

The Rockies currently have the No. 20 rated farm system in baseball, and, with so much depth and talent, that rankinng is expected to rise as 2025 progresses. So that means the Spring Breakout will be an excellent chance for fans to see just why the Rockies’ farm system is trending in the right direction.
