The Colorado Rockies released their Spring Breakout roster a few days ago, featuring all their top prospects in action.

Spring Breakout began in 2024 as a series of 16 exhibition games between MLB teams composed entirely of top prospects, giving them a chance to showcase their skills.

This will be the third edition of the event, running from March 19-22.

Colorado will face the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, Mar. 21 at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Players like Welinton Herrera (Rockies No. 14 prospect), Gabriel Hughes (Rockies No. 16 prospect), and Robert Calaz (Rockies No. 5 prospect) will be making their second appearance in this game.

Colorado's roster will be headlined by their top two prospects, Ethan Holliday (No. 1, MLB No. 24) and Charlie Condon (No. 2, MLB No. 70). Holliday was drafted fourth overall in the 2025 MLB Draft, while Condon went third overall in 2024.

Holliday already got a taste of the action when he suited up for Team USA against the Rockies on Mar. 4, sharing the dugout with his father, Matt Holliday, who serves as one of Team USA's hitting coaches.

Condon, meanwhile, has made quite the impression on Colorado's coaching staff this spring. The first baseman/outfielder has crushed three home runs and driven in six RBI in 19 at-bats, slashing .421/.450/.684 with only four strikeouts.

Other notable players that will participate in the game include:

Jared Thomas, OF (Rockies No. 3 prospect)
Roldy Brito, 2B/OF (Rockies No. 4 prospect)
Cole Carrigg, OF/SS (Rockies No. 6 prospect)
Brody Brecht, RHP (Rockies No. 8 prospect)
Griffin Herring, LHP (Rockies No. 9 prospect)
Roc Riggio, 2B (Rockies No. 10 prospect)
Sean Sullivan, LHP (Rockies No. 11 prospect)
Max Belyeu, OF (Rockies No. 12 prospect)
Zac Veen, OF (Rockies No. 13 prospect)

This roster gives the Rockies another chance to evaluate Zac Veen, who transformed his body this past offseason as he pushes for a spot on the Opening Day roster.
