The Colorado Rockies (27-34) are returning home after their 4-3 roadtrip against the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres to face the Cleveland Guardians (29-27).
In returning to Coors Field, the Guardians and the Rockies will have some hot and sunny weather throughout the series.
Denver weather for Tuesday, June 14
The Coors Field weather for the Cleveland Guardians and the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday will be the most pleasant of the weather that they will have for the series.
At game time (6:40 PM M.T./8:40 PM E.T.), there will be an abundance of sunshine and little to no clouds, according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures will be in the low 80s and, as the game develops, temperatures will drop into the high 60s. There is a zero percent chance of precipitation and winds will be blowing in from left field between 10 and 15 MPH.
The Guardians will send 2020 AL Cy Young Award winner Shane Bieber (3-3, 2.91 ERA in 11 starts) to the mound and Colorado will oppose with Antonio Senzatela (2-3, 4.83 ERA in nine starts).
Denver weather for Wednesday, June 15
The Coors Field weather for the Guardians and Rockies will be a bit warmer on Wednesday than it will be on Tuesday.
At game time (again, at 6:40 PM M.T./8:40 PM E.T.), temperatures will be in the mid- to upper-80s with clear skies and a zero percent chance of precipitation. Winds will be blowing in from right field at about 10 MPH.
The Guardians will send Konnor Pilkington (1-0, 3.57 ERA in seven games (four starts)) to the mound. The Rockies will counter with Austin Gomber (3-6, 6.17 ERA in 11 starts).
Denver weather for Thursday, June 16
The Coors Field weather for the Guardians and Rockies will be a scorcher for Thursday’s getaway day game.
There will be little to no clouds with high temperatures climbing to around 94 degrees. There is about a 15 percent chance of a popup rain shower and winds will be blowing from right to left field at about 10 MPH.
The Guardians’ probable starter will be Triston McKenzie (3-5, 3.09 ERA in 11 games (10 starts)) while Colorado has yet to officially name their probable starter. However, it will likely be Chad Kuhl (4-3, 3.70 ERA in 11 starts).
After the series ends, the Rockies will stay home to face the Padres while the Guardians will head to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers.
