Here is what you need to know about the Colorado Rockies games at Coors Field that end with fireworks during the 2022 season

During the 2022 season, the Colorado Rockies will host three games that have postgame fireworks. Those dates are the following:

July 1 against the Arizona Diamondbacks (6:10 p.m. Mountain time start)

July 2 against the Arizona Diamondbacks (7:10 p.m. Mountain time start)

September 23 against the San Diego Padres (6:10 p.m. Mountain time start)

When will the fireworks start at Coors Field after the Colorado Rockies game?

Fireworks usually begin 20-30 minutes after the completion of the game. Before the fireworks begin, there will need to be sufficient time in order to clear the Rockpile as well as the fans sitting in the left field bleachers. All of those fans will have the opportunity to sit on the field in order to get the best views of the fireworks.

What are the best seats to view the fireworks at Coors Field following the Colorado Rockies game?

Seats along the first base side of Coors Field are always in high demand for the fireworks show. However, the Rockies also offer “fireworks obstructed view tickets” as part of their packages for the evening. As the Rockies state, you can move after the game to get a view of the fireworks. However, you won’t be allowed to go on the field with the fans relocating from the outfield. There are plenty of areas with standing room only, however, along the first base side that will provide good views.

What about after the fireworks at Coors Field following the Colorado Rockies game?

Plan ahead that the traffic will be dense after the fireworks ends. Be prepared to either wait your turn to leave the area around Coors Field or plan to spend time in one of the local bars or restaurants to kill some time and let some of the traffic thin out. Patience is a virtue on fireworks nights as the crowd will be at capacity.
