Coors Field weather for Colorado Rockies-Cincinnati Reds series: April 29-May 1

The Colorado Rockies return home to Coors Field to face the Cincinnati Reds this weekend to start a six-game homestand. The Rockies were just swept by the Philadelphia Phillies in Philadelphia to end a seven-game road trip. They went 2-5 on the trip.

The Reds were just swept at home by the Padres and are only 3-15 on the season.

Overall, the two teams should have a good weather weekend at Coors Field.

Denver forecast for Friday, April 29

Friday will be the coldest day during the three-game series between the Colorado Rockies and Cincinnati Reds at Coors Field this weekend.

Game time will be at 6:40 p.m. (Mountain) and at that time, it will be about 57 degrees, according to The Weather Channel. It will also be windy as sustained winds will be around 22 MPH and blowing in from left field. Gusts could be over 50 MPH so it could be a factor during the game. There will be a zero percent chance of precipitation.

The Reds will send their #1 prospect Hunter Greene (1-2, 5.27 ERA) to the mound and Colorado will oppose with Antonio Senzatela (1-1, 4.73 ERA).

Denver forecast for Saturday, April 30

To end the month of April, the Rockies and Reds will face each other at Coors Field and they will face each other 30 minutes earlier, as the game will start at 6:10 p.m. (Mountain).

At that time, it will be sunny with a zero percent chance of rain and a temperature of 66. Winds will be much less as it will be 10 MPH and blowing out slightly to left field.

The Reds have not announced a starter but the Rockies will send Chad Kuhl (2-0, 1.10 ERA) to the mound.

Denver forecast for Sunday, May 1

To start the month of May, the Rockies and Reds will get good weather at Coors Field, at least to during game time.

When the game is slated to start at 1:10 p.m. (Mountain), they will play under partly cloudy skies and a temperature of about 65 degrees. During the game, though, the temperature should reach 70 degrees. By Sunday night, though, there is a chance of scattered thunderstorms and a temperature in the low to mid-40s.
