With fantasy baseball drafts gearing up as Opening Day creeps ever closer, it’s time to take a look at which members of the Colorado Rockies are projected to hit the most home runs in 2022.

Which Colorado Rockies will have the biggest fantasy impact when it comes to home runs in 2022?

Let’s dive into some of the projections. According to Steamer projections, here are the five Colorado Rockies who are forecast to hit the most home runs in 2022:

C.J. Cron — 31 (he hit 28 for Colorado last season)

Kris Bryant — 27 (he hit 25 last season split between the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants)

Randal Grichuk — 26 (he hit 22 last season for the Toronto Blue Jays)

Ryan McMahon — 25 (he hit 23 for Colorado last season)

Charlie Blackmon — 20 (he hit 13 for Colorado last season)

Brendan Rodgers — 20 (he hit 15 for Colorado last season)

Obviously all of those would be improvements for the individual players (and would be welcomed by a team that finished ninth in the National League last season in home runs).

What about ZiPS projections for Colorado’s home run hitters in 2022?

C.J. Cron and Randal Grichuk — 26

Ryan McMahon and Sam Hilliard — 24 (Hilliard, by the way, hit 14 last season for the Rockies)

Kris Bryant — 23

ZiPS is much higher on Hilliard’s contributions in 2022 than Steamer. How the Rockies balance Hilliard with the addition of Grichuk in center field will be a very interesting development to watch. Of course, with the designated hitter now in the National League, there will be opportunities for the Rockies to use Blackmon, Bryant, Grichuk, and Hilliard all in the same lineup.

Finally, let’s take a look at what Rotochamp is projecting when it comes to Colorado’s 2022 home run leaders.

C.J. Cron — 30

Kris Bryant — 25

Ryan McMahon and Sam Hilliard — 24

Randal Grichuk — 23
