Did the Mariners make an offer to Story before the lockout with the hopes of not only bringing him to the Pacific Northwest, but also to changing his defensive position as well? Could the Mariners slot Story in at third base in place of Kyle Seager, or could Seattle potentially use him in the outfield as well?
