Robert Moore, SS/2B
As the son of Kansas City Royals general manager Dayton Moore, Robert Moore knows his way around the Major League stadium and clubhouse. Already possessing a knowledge of what it takes to succeed at baseball’s highest level, Moore is described as a “very polished player” in this article, which also contains this information on the University of Arkansas infielder.
"“Switch-hitter, pretty equal from both sides, has the same quick hands that generate his bat speed, short and quick to the ball with a pull side approach, looks more comfortable and natural from the right side but the left side works just as well in the end.”"
Moore started all 16 games he saw action in for Arkansas in 2020, including 15 at second base and one at shortstop. He earned SEC Co-Player of the Week and SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors, and was the first Razorback freshman to earn SEC Player of the Week honors.
