The Colorado Rockies have been linked to several relievers in the rumors swirling around the upcoming trade deadline. Now you can add another team and a few more names to that list.

Jon Paul Morosi of MLB.com is reporting in this article that the Colorado Rockies are among the teams that are keeping an eye on the relievers in the Cincinnati Reds bullpen. That group includes Raisel Iglesias, Amir Garrett, David Hernandez and Jared Hughes. Our own Noah Yingling had earlier mentioned a potential link between the Rockies and Hughes in this article.

As noted by Morosi, the asking price for any of these Reds relievers could be high. The big name on the list, Iglesias, is under team control until 2021. The earliest date for any of the names to test free agency would be Hernandez and Hughes after the 2019 campaign.

Iglesias has recorded 19 saves this season and has a 1.00 WHIP in 43 innings pitched, striking out 46 batters.

More from Colorado Rockies Rumors

Colorado was one of four teams mentioned by Morosi in the article, joining the Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies. Knowing the number of teams that are in contention and looking for bullpen help, these are likely not the only teams in the mix.

The Rockies spent a record amount on their bullpen in the offseason, extending Jake McGee and inking Bryan Shaw and Wade Davis. However, it seems that Colorado general manager Jeff Bridich believes another arm would be beneficial to have in the bullpen as the Rockies try to make Rocktober happen once again.

Bridich came through with a reliever before the trade deadline last season when the team pulled Pat Neshek away from the Phillies. Neshek played a key role in Colorado securing a Wild Card berth last season.

Colorado has been mentioned in conjunction with potentially available Baltimore pitchers as well in recent days, including reliever Zach Britton, who will be one of the most coveted names as the trade deadline draws closer.
