May for the Colorado Rockies will start off with the continuation of the series in Chicago against the Cubs. They’ll look to win the series in the next two games. As for the rest of May, here is the schedule:

at New York Mets (5/4-5/6)

vs. Los Angeles Angels (5/8 &5/9)

vs. Milwaukee Brewers (5/10-5/13)

@ San Diego Padres (5/14 & 5/15)

@ San Francisco Giants (5/17-5/20)

@ Los Angeles Dodgers (5/21-5/23)

vs. Cincinnati Reds (5/25-5/27)

vs. Giants (5/28-5/30)

Next: The ideal offensive lineup

Hopefully, during the beginning of May, we will see DJ LeMaheiu return from the DL, along with a call-up for Jeff Hoffman to be able to get in a few innings on the mound.

The Rockies are splitting the month of May right down the middle in terms of home and away series. They do appear to do better on the road so perhaps we’ll be seeing more number in the win column this month.

Be sure to check back at the end of May for another monthly recap via Rox Pile.
