This entire article was to show how well the Rockies would be able to utilize having a DH in the lineup. I’d love to see this take place as not only is it good for the batters, but the pitchers as well. It is good for the pitchers because of the fact that they’d only have to focus on the pitching side of the game. It’s good for the batters because without a pitcher causing outs or having to bunt they now have nine actual batters that know how to hit in different situations.

If the Rockies were able to utilize the DH the correct way, there are so many possibilities when it comes to players being the DH. That leads to having more space open for defensive positioning, which may help the Rockies in the long run.

We will see the Rockies flex their lineup with a DH a few times this year, and it will be fun to watch what happens.
