Nice things about Nolan Arenado
(via Twitter)
This, via ESPN’s Buster Olney, is a nice thing:
I guess I’d be interested to know who the evaluator is, but it really doesn’t matter; Nolan Arenado is very good at baseball. He’s being compared to Brooks Robinson there, so, I mean, yeah. That’s not a joke.

Click through and read some of the replies Buster got for that tweet, though. People take their baseball seriously, man. Like, if you said to me “Josh Donaldson is better than Nolan Arenado,” I’d be like, “OK, cool story bro.” I’m not going to attack you on Twitter for a perfectly justifiable opinion.
Donaldson, Manny Machado, David Wright, Arenado, there are a lot of really, really good third basemen at various stages of their career in this league right now. Make your case for the best! That’s great! But taking offense when a longtime evaluator makes their case seems… desperate? Desperate.
