Todd Helton’s Monday Make-A-Wish magic
This is the good stuff. Todd Helton may no longer be a member of the Colorado Rockies, but he’s still the favorite player of a lot of people (yes, if I couldn’t choose Yohan Flande, I might be hard-pressed to take Helton, myself).
Knowing that, and knowing how interested he is in still being involved around the game in general, and specifically the Colorado Rockies, it’s great to see stuff like this (and to see Cory Sullivan get in on the action, too!):
No word on if Todd is available to pinch-hit for the big club, but I think he’s probably still a pretty tough out in the late innings, especially with guys on base.
