Carlos Gonzalez. It doesn’t get much hotter than CarGo over his last six games entering Tuesday night; six homers and fifteen RBIs (that’s not a typo) with three walks, 12 total hits, and just one strikeout in 21 at-bats/24 plate appearances. Sell high, guys… sell high…

DJ LeMahieu. LeMahieu has quietly continued to hit all year, getting past a mini-slump in June after starting the season red hot and sustaining a batting average well above .300. This week, he’s 9-for-21 with three doubles, six RBIs, and four walks against just two strikeouts.

Ben Paulsen. Paulsen is 5-for-16 in his last six games, with a triple and two home runs. Of course, the Rockies optioned Wilin Rosario to AAA Albuquerque, so it stands to reason first base is more or less Paulsen’s to control for the (foreseeable) future, since he was pretty much starting every single day, anyways.

Rafael Betancourt, Christian Friedrich, and Tommy Kahnle. Kudos to these three unsigned bullpen guys, who have combined in the last week for 10.2 innings in 10 appearances, allowing 12 hits, one unearned run, two walks, and 9 strikeouts. Considering how many starters ought to be on the cold list on the next slide… at least some relievers are throwing well.
