Jorge De La Rosa
Does this guy ever get any credit? De La Rosa has given the Rockies something they haven’t seen in a long time – consistency. The moment is never too big for the steady lefty. Sure, he might walk a few batters. He might even throw a few in the dirt. However, De La Rosa continues to provide solid performances every time he is on the bump.
In his past two seasons, De La Rosa has made a combined 57 starts. Not one other Rockies pitcher can even sniff that number. Provided the Rockies shell out a little cash and re-sign him, De La Rosa will be back and primed for another solid season in Denver next year.
