Brett Anderson pitches 200 innings

If Anderson, age 26, pitches 200 innings for the season it will be the first time he has done so in his short career. As a rookie in 2009 he threw 175.1 innings in 30 starts. He threw 112 the next season and it has been downhill since.
The former Oakland starter insists that he is healthy. If he managed to throw 200 innings, Anderson would prove a lot of people and projection systems wrong. He would also be the kind of staff ace the Rockies need to have a legitimate chance in 2014.
