Oh boy, here we go again Rockies fans. If you thought the Rockies were going to steer clear of the injury bug in Spring Training, you were wrong. Jordan Pacheco, Justin Morneau and Josh Rutledge headline the list of injured players alongside Jhoulys Chacin who has been dealing with right shoulder inflammation. Jordan Pacheco was scratched from the Colorado Rockies spring training game Monday afternoon against the Seattle Mariners after aggravating his left shoulder during a batting practice session.
Here’s what Pacheco told Troy Renck of The Denver Post:
"“It just needs some medicine and rest,” Pacheco said Tuesday afternoon.”I shouldn’t be down for more than a few days.”"
Rockies trainer Keith Dugger spoke on Pacheco’s injury:

Justin Morneau is dealing with a stiff neck and is day-to-day while Rockies second baseman Josh Rutledge is sidelined with an ankle injury.
Morneau (stiff neck) and Rutledge (ankle) should return soon Ynoa hurt his hamstring which is why Rosell Herrera played in field in night gm

Meanwhile, Jhoulys Chacin started throwing a medicine ball a couple of days ago and will play catch either today or tomorrow. All of these injuries aren’t considered to be serious but for Rockies fans, it’s better to get the injuries out-of-the-way sooner rather than later, right?
The Colorado Rockies resume Cactus League action as the team will be split up for the second time. They will take on the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers at 1:05 PM MT.
