Former Teammates Congratulate Todd Helton

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports
Aaron Cook and Brad Hawpe were in the house last night. Presumably we can expect to see a number of other familiar faces at Coors Field tonight as first baseman Todd Helton plays his final game in front of the home crowd. It is fitting, and it is nice to see that Helton’s teammates admire and respect him as much as we perceive they do from the outside.
Some other teammates have taken a moment to pass along well wishes to #17 in the lead-up to Wednesday night’s emotional farewell game.
"Todd, congrats to not only one of the best hitters the game has ever known but one of the best people the game has ever known." - Josh Fogg

Wish I could be there to see Todd's last game at Coors. Best teammate anybody could ever ask for. If you've ever been Rocks fan,go say bye!

There will surely be more to come throughout the day and tonight, as we celebrate the end of the career of #17.
