Twitter Reacts To Nolan Arenado’s Grand Slam
By Hayden Kane

For my part, I stood up with one fist in the air and shouted “GO BALL” as Nolan Arenado‘s grand slam off of David Price sailed out of Coors Field Saturday night. I was wearing a T-shirt that says “Punters are people too” and athletic shorts, and I had recently enjoyed a heated up corn dog and a beer while watching the Rockies. Yes, my wife was gone for most of the evening. Thanks for asking…(although she was home of Arenado’s moment of glory).

Denver Post beat writer Troy Renck has lamented for the last two years or so how his Twitter feed has been dominated by questions about Nolan Arenado, the super prospect, and when he will be called up for the Rockies. Well, the moment has finally come.
One can only imagine, then, how Rockies fans reacted on Twitter when Arenado hit a grand slam off of the reigning American League Cy Young winner. But you need not imagine, as I have gathered the best Twitter reactions for you right here on Rox Pile.
Nolan Arenado 2nd HR is his first grand slam and Rockies up 9-3 on Rays in seventh. Rockies first slam of season.
