Chicago Cubs at Colorado Rockies, 6:40 P.M. MT
With only eight more games left in the Colorado Rockies 2012 season, the Rockies (60-94) will face the Cubs (59-95) in the second game of the final series at Coors Field this season. The Rockies have won two straight games including a rain shortened 10-5 victory last night in their quest to avoid 100 losses.
Drew Pomeranz (1-9) starts for the Rockies bringing a six game personal losing streak into the game and with Colorado losing his last three starts. Jason Berken will go for the Cubs, he will be making his third start for Cubs after being claimed off waivers from Baltimore earlier this month and has been good so far with a 1.80 ERA over two starting including throwing 6 shutout innings of 2 hit ball against the Reds in his last start. Berken has pitched in 108 MLB games in his career with 81 of those games coming out of the bullpen over the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
