San Francisco Giants at Colorado Rockies, 6:40 P.M. MT.
The Rockies and Giants will square off in the second game of a three game series tonight, with Colorado taking the first game by a score of 6-5. Jhoulys Chacin will make his fifth start since returning from the disabled list and has gone 2-2 with a 1.27 ERA over 21 1/3 innings. In his last start Chacin only allowed one run, which was unearned, but did allow seven hits and three walks over 3 1/3 innings in a 1-0 loss to the Braves. Madison Bumgarner will take the hill for the Giants, Bumgarner has lost his last three starts with a 6.48 ERA over 16 2/3 innings, but has gone 4-1 with a 0.88 ERA against the Rockies over the past two seasons, including winning both starts earlier this season.
Carlos Gonzalez has had some success against the Giants left-hander going 7-19 (.368) with 2 home runs in his career. Matt McBride gets the start over Tyler Colvin with Bumgarner starting for the Giants.
