Colorado Rockies at New York Mets, 11:10 AM MDT

The Rockies (49-73) will try to finish a four game sweep of the Mets (57-67) in a day game today and match their longest winning streak of 2012 at five games.

Tyler Chatwood starts for the fifth time this season and is 2-2 with a 3.93 ERA as a starter. Chatwood is coming of his worst start as a Rockies giving up six runs on nine hits in a loss to the Marlins, in his previous three starts he had only giving up two earned runs over 14 1/3 innings. Collin McHugh will make his MLB debut for the Mets, the 25 year old right-hander is in his 5th pro season after being picked by the Mets in the 18th round of the 2008 draft. McHugh started this season in Double-A Binghamton before being promoted to Triple-A Buffalo were he went 2-4 with a 3.39 ERA and will take Johan Santana‘s spot in the rotation after Santana was shut down for the season with back inflammation.

Tyler Colvin gets the start in center with Dexter Fowler spraining his ankle last night, leaving Jordan Pacheco to start at first. This will be Colvin’s 14th start in center-field for the Rockies.

The Mets will sent out their fourth different line-up of the series. In their last three games against the Rockies the Mets have only scored five runs and have not scored more than two for five games.
